And we comply with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Etc. Here’s how WIS manages the collection, use, disclosure, and handling of personal information in accordance with this act.

▶ Purposes of Such Collection

- To provide information regarding the exhibition events
- To provide information regarding resembling events running by the WIS organizer.

▶ Items to be Collected

The items collected by the WIS are as follows:
- Items : Name, gender, home telephone number, address, phone number, e-mail address, occupation, company name, department, position, office phone number, cookies, questionnaire items
- Website (Pre-register, Enterprises Consultation Booking, Exhibitor Online Registration)

▶ Period of Retention

In principle, the WIS destructs personal information of users without delay when the purpose of its collect and use has achieved. However, the WIS will retain the following information for certain period as designated.
- Items to be collected: Name, gender, home telephone number, home address, phone number, e-mail address, occupation, company name, department, position, office phone number
- Purpose of use: Provision, research, and planning of the WIS related service.
To provide information regarding resembling events running by the WIS organizer.
- Record on collection/process, and use of information: 2 years

▶Consent to provision of personal information to third parties through Electronic Business Card System

This exhibition operates an electronic business card system to provide useful information exchange services between visitors and exhibitors.
※ If an exhibitor scan (use) the barcode on your visitor badge when visiting their booth, this will be considered the same as exchanging business cards, and your personal information will be automatically transmitted to the exhibitor.

- Recipient: Exhibitors using the Electronic Business Card (customer management) System
- Purpose of provision: Business & marketing
- Provided items: Name, company name, department, position, e-mail address etc.
- Retention period: 1 year

▶ Right

In principle, you have the right to refuse consent to the collection of personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. However, please note that if you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you are not allowed to enter the exhibition halls.
You can request to view, correct, or delete the consented personal information at any time. Viewing, correction, deletion, and withdrawal of consent to provide information can be requested through the “World IT Show Organizer” after verifying your identity. We inform you that it will take a certain period of time to withdraw the membership information already provided, and that it may be used for marketing during this period. We will make every effort to process quickly to protect your valuable information.

※The collected data could be shared with Association of Korea Exhibition Industry(AKEI) for the exhibition verification, however, it will not be shared with a 3rd party for any other purposes.
※ Photos and videos taken by the organizers in the exhibition can be used to promote the Exhibition.
